In this coaching video I share my 10/20 Rule. This is modeled after the aquatics consulting firm Ellis and Assoc. Using the 10/20 Rule prevents miss-communication and lack of communication between a #real estate agent and their sellers.
Real Estate sellers can be quite demanding especially in a down market. And the fastest way to upsetting them is to have a break down in communication.
I coach #real estate agents to use the 10/20 Rule in the initial listing presentation. Make it apart of your expectations dialogue with the #seller. In a down real estate market, sellers will run at you. They will be emailing, calling, and questioning. The best thing you can do for your #business and the seller is run at them. Don't be reactive, be proactive. Set the expectations and follow through.
When the seller knows what to expect and you meet or exceed expectations, trust is built. Would have having the seller trust you be of benefit when its time to talk about the price of the home during one of these 10/20 conversations?
Are you afraid to take #real estate listings? Are sellers frustrated with you? Are you frustrated with sellers?
